What is capital?
In accounting, the capital account is also known as owner's equity for a sole proprietorship or shareholders' equity for a corporation. It shows the total value of the owner's investment in the business.
A business's capital usually grows through owners' investment or retained/reinvested profit.
How to record capital in the business
Login to your Simplebks (www.simplebks.com)
Click on Transactions on the sidebar> Add New Records
Enter the transaction Date and Description
Transaction type( Money In)
Category ( Capital)
Enter the Amount and Account( Cash or bank)
Enter the Investors Name
Click on Create Transaction
Transaction created successfully
Click on Print>To print the receipt or download the receipt as a PDF
Go to Transactions on the sidebar> To view the Transaction details
